How We Gather
An online Sabbath gathering with no paid priesthood, no required donations, and room for everyone to speak.
Gathering on the Sabbath
The community gathers online on the Sabbath. Services are free, and no donations are requested or accepted.
You are welcome to drop by anytime. You are also welcome to join our weekly Sabbath service. These times all refer to the same gathering:
Saturday 11:00 AM JST
= Friday 10:00 PM EDT
= Friday 9:00 PM EST when daylight saving time is not in effect.
There is no priestly class. Like the Quakers, we reject the idea that only a special religious class can participate fully in spiritual life.
Unlike traditional silent Quaker meetings, however, our gatherings are meant for conversation. We talk, ask questions, read, reflect, disagree respectfully, and learn from one another.
We believe that there is objective good and evil, and that every person has a purpose in life given by God.
Opening the service
Jesus taught that where two or three are gathered in his name, he is there among them. That makes a simple and appropriate beginning for an online Christian gathering.
A possible order of gathering
A simple greeting and the opening words: “We are gathered here in the name of Jesus.”
A short moment to become calm and consider why we have gathered.
A passage from the teachings of Jesus or another text chosen for thoughtful discussion.
Everyone may speak. Questions and disagreement are allowed, provided they are respectful and sincere.
Ideas from Christianity, other religions, philosophy, science, and history may be considered under the principle: take the good and leave the bad.
Confession is directed to God, not to a priest. Participants may pray privately or together.
The gathering ends with a reminder to seek peace, remain humble, and carry what was learned into daily life.
This order is only a starting point. The community can revise it as it grows and learns.
Everyone may participate
I am not a pope; everyone is equal under God. I am simply the founder.
No single person has exclusive authority to speak for God. Leadership can be practical rather than priestly: someone may organize a gathering, moderate discussion, or prepare a reading without being placed spiritually above everyone else.
The purpose is fellowship, learning, peace, and sincere spiritual exploration—not hierarchy.
Who is welcome
Anyone from any spiritual or non-spiritual path is welcome, as long as they are civil and are not trolls, spammers, or poop-posters.
Sincere questions and respectful disagreement are welcome. The goal is thoughtful conversation, not disruption.
Faith is not something you have to buy
God does not need money, and you do not need to spend money to have a relationship with God. For that reason, we do not ask for or accept contributions.
We believe that hell is not literally a pit of fire. We understand hell as separation from God—the absence of a relationship with God.

Sábado, 11:00 a. m. JST
= Viernes, 10:00 p. m. EDT
= Viernes, 9:00 p. m.
